Technical Name Luminous Aurora Orchid Controlled High Entropy Materials in Indoor Carbon Reduction Technology
Project Operator National Cheng Kung University
Project Host 蘇彥勳
Summary
Although the earliest ornamental orchids for noble aristocrats were already introduced in the mid-16th century, the luminous orchid with its luminous cycle repeating itself night after night made of non-genetically modified biotechnologically safe materials nano high-entropy materials (in compliance with EN71-3:2019). The amount of captured carbonin one month is equivalent to 43.1% of the carbon emissions of one kilowatt hour of electricity.
Scientific Breakthrough
"1. Nano plant vein absorption technology coexists with plants.

 2. Functional materials maintain continued functionality in plants.

 3. Non-modification or implantation of plant gene technology.

 4. Comply with EU safety directives.

 5. It can improve the carbon dioxide curing efficiency of plants.

 6. Nano high-entropy oxides are used to achieve net-zero carbon emissions."
Industrial Applicability
Taiwans orchid export sales reach US$207.4 million a year. The luminous orchid design complies with the EU safety directive (EN71-3) material operation, and the luminous orchid truly appears in real life from science fiction movies. Glowing orchids can capture 0.213 kg of carbon in a month, which is equivalent to 43.1% of the carbon emissions of one kilowatt hour of electricity.
