We propose a technology which uses LiDAR instead of cameras to detect person while also offering privacy. By combining LiDAR and personal wearable devices, ex: smart phones, our system realize person identification by data fusion. Our system shows the relationship between moving objects scanned by LiDAR and user profiles from wearable devices without any biological information, ex: face. |

Our system can be applied on public/private/important/interested areas. Our system achieves person identification by fusing LiDAR data and wearable devices' data. LiDAR can continuously scan the environment even in the dark. And wearable devices can be also equipped with valuables. Thus, when a suspicious user takes the valuable away in the dark, our system can still detect and track the suspicious user. |
