      We propose a semantic-guided framework (FashionOn+) that generates image-based virtual try-on results with arbitrary poses. FashionOn+ contains three stages: (I) conducts the semantic segmentation to have the prior knowledge of body parts for rendering the corresponding texture in stage (II). (III) refines two salient regions, i.e., faceclothes, to generate high-quality results. With the novel architecture, we win first place in the Multi-pose Virtual Try-on Challenge in CVPR, 2020. Further, we tackle the low-resolution limitation (256x192)achieve high-resolution results (640x480).

      We have designed a remotely-controlled robot which equipped with a 360 degree full HD camera. User’s postures are detected by measuring the accelerationrotation of changes of limb postures using inertial measurement units (IMU). User’s motion commands are wirelessly transmitted to actuate the remote robot in accordance with user’s posture. The 360 degree full scene camera keeps transmitting the real-time situation of the scene surrounding the robot back to the user, displayed on the VR headset.

      In order to replace humans so as to ensure safety in highly hazardous environments, such as COVID-19 testing sites, a dual-arm humanoid robot has been developed by our NTHU team. This humanoid robot with 7-axis robotic arm, vision system, IMUtouch sensors intelligence is able to imitate human actions intelligently. There are several technologies that were developed for this humanoid robot: robotic arm joints which correspond to human arm joints, a novel multiple-object tracking technology which can distinguish individual occluded objects,a real-time eye-hand calibration technology.

      "For video anomaly detection, we apply pretrained models to obtain the foregroundthe optical flow as ground truth. Then our model estimates the information by taking only a single frame as input. For human behaviors, we take the human poses as inputuse a GCN-based model to predict the future poses. Both the anomaly scores of these two works are given by the error of the estimation. For defect detection, our model takes patches of the image as inputlearns to extract features. The anomaly score of each patch is given by the distance between the patchall the training patches."

      A method of enhancing a mammalian immune response to a virus is disclosed. The method comprises administering a composition comprising an effective amount of epinecidin (Epi)-1the virus to a mammal, wherein the virus has envelope proteinis infectious to the mammal. In this technique, Epi-1Japanese encephalitis virus (JEV) were mixedinjected into mice. The mice were infected with JEV 14 days later,all mice survived. This technology has also been verified in the preparation of vaccines for foot-and-mouth disease virusnervous necrosis virus.

      A microfluidic diffraction device is developed for determination of CTC/bacteria from human whole blood with a home-constructed laser beam system. We design the optical structuretransfer the structure to transparent plastic substrate. The plastic diffraction die is modified with antibodies of the target to combine a fluidic system as a microfluidic diffraction chip. When human whole blood with CTCs/bacteria flows through the chip, the number of cells/bacteria can be obtained directly with label-free. The devices has been applied in clinical diagnosis of oesophagealendometrial cancer.

      "We present here a portable device with isothermally mediated loop amplification (LAMP) for the diagnosis of infectious diseases. After mixing all the solutions by rollingsqueezing the sealed compartments, the LAMP strip was heated for 30 min for amplification. Finally, fluorescence results can be read with the naked eyeon a smartphone under the UV lamp. The 700g device is powered by a portable charger, making it easier to detect pathogens in resource-limited environments."
