      In order to develop an AI model that can accuratelycompletely segment coronary arteries, our team, the TW-CVAI, has established a training dataset composed of strictly verified annotations of coronary lumen boundaries in coronary CT angiography (CCTA). We designed a deep learning model, two-channel 3D-UNet, with a priori prerequisite (vesselness prior) to facilitate identification of vascular structures. The final model, the TaiCAD-Net, greatly shortens the CCTA interpretation time from 6 hours to 10 minutes, with the overall segmentation accuracy of 86 by Dice similarity coefficient.

      A virtual reality (VR) system for piping planning in shipbuilding has been developed to help engineers easily checking their designdiscussing with each other. The VR system includes two servers: a database server for storing piping dataanother for multi-users interaction. Within same virtual engine room, users can freelyclosely viewcheck the auto-generated piping systems based on the data accessed from a database server. They can also use any independent vocal communication software to discuss with each other online.

      This project will establish a National biobank consortium of Taiwan through the fund support from the government. The National Health Research Institutes will establish a Central Office for the collaboration works, which includes collecting the number of samples of the human biological database in each biobank that agreed to join the Consortium. All Alliance need to follow the same SOP for the collection processthe quality of the biosample. Adequateconsistent clinical data will also be established under the Information Security Management Treaty. Since the contents of the biobanks from different institute are quite different, we will be able to quickly establish a largecomprehensive biobank network.In line with the need of biotechnologypharmaceutical industries.

      The HeaortaNet is developed by the TW-CVAI team. The HeaortaNet is a deep learning model trained by 70,000 axial images from 200 patients with verified annotations of the pericardiumaorta. It shortens the time for data processing from 60 minutes, by manual segmentation of both pericardiumaorta, to 0.4 seconds. The segmentation accuracy, as assessed by dice similarity coefficient, is 94.8 for the pericardium,91.6 for the aorta. The imaging-based Cardiovascular Risk Prediction module was constructed by analyzing data from the National Health Insurance Databank.

      During the pandemic, it is necessary to reduce contactwear masks, but identification is still required. The original technology includes the development of inertial measurement units beneath the walking surface, real-time detection of gait,accurate predictions of gait parameters with machine learning models. Most importantly, our technology can use a small number of samples (only one footstep data) for identifications. Non-contact, non-monitoring,rapid identification are going to be the future applications in smart buildings/homes.

      R3CE (Rapid, Reproducible, Rare Cell 3D Expansion) is a clinically validated platform capable of generating single cell-derived organoids within one to four weeks. It outperforms currently 3D culture technologies in terms of yields, time to form organoids,easiness of operation. It also demonstrates similar yieldscost structure to 2D culture protocols. R3CE is ready for drug testing for all clinical samplesprovides sufficient quantity of genomic samples derived from cancer patients. It would help conduct clinical cancer treatment in the translational study.
