Scientific Breakthrough | The main technique breakthrough of this project is on the building of a multi-function communication experimental payload for the PEARL CubeSat. The payload comprises Software-Defined Radio (SDR) Platform, K/Ka-Band RF frontendantennas. The function of the complete LEO CubeSat communication payload is configurable which is designedimplemented on the FPGA part of the SDR platform. The modes of the communication system for LEO CubeSat include: 1) Transponder Mode 2) Transceiver Mode 3) Payload Communication Mode 4) Channel Sounding Mode. |
