Summary
This study proposes a double elastic steel sheet vibration energy harvester system (DESS VEH), where the vibration generated by the deformation and/or clap of two magnetic excited elastic steel sheets is assisted by a piezo-patch to generate electric energy. The proposed model can be applied on an unmanned helicopterany other multi-rotor drones. The downstream flows from the rotors are collecteddriving a wind-turbine to excite the vibration steel sheet(s) systemgenerating electric power.
Scientific Breakthrough
This wind-driven rotating magnetic device can use the repulsion of magnetic force to drive a group of laterally vibrating elastic steel sheets, allowing the elastic steel sheets carrying the magnets to clapexcite the elastic steel sheets of the power generating device carrying the piezoelectric sheets, forming a group of double elastic steel sheet energy harvester system composed of two elastic steel sheets. This device can perfectly make it the benefit of power generation can be utilizedexerted to the greatest extent.
Industrial Applicability
This study discusses a wind-driven rotating magnetic device that uses the repulsion of magnetic force to drive a group of laterally vibrating elastic steel sheets, uses the vibration energy of the mechanism as the basis for an in-depth discussion of its electrical energy conversion benefits. The proposed model can be applied on an unmanned helicopterany other multi-rotor drones. The output voltage of the DESS VEH in this study can reach 14 V.
