Summary |
Copper alloys have excellent anti-bacteria properties but generally have lower hardness. Although Cu-Be alloys satisfy the hardness required for cutting knifes, they are expensive and forbidden to make knifes due to poison from Be. To overcome this, we successfully develop Be-free medium-entropy Cu-rich alloys for knifes, which are hard and have good anti-bacteria and anti-sticky properties. We have Taiwan patent. |
