Summary |
1.This technique develops multifunction caps for industry and agriculture. The cap is comfortable to wear, not like ear-plugs. 2.We have developed both digital and analog based ANC techniques. Broadband noise cancellation can be up to 3kHz. 3.The virtual sensing technique can move the quiet zone to the ear, not at the error microphone. The band-selecting technique helps to cancel the noise but keep voice. |
Scientific Breakthrough |
1. Both our analog and digital based ANC techniques can cancel broadband noise up to 3kHz, which outperforms with the brand leading companies like Bose, Sony and 3M. 2. Bandselecting function can decide the frequency band to be canceled or not to be canceled. So, we can cancel noise but keep voice. 3.Virtual sensing technique can move the quiet zone to the ear but not like usual ANC cases at error microphones. |
Industrial Applicability |
The proposed technique can be applied to industry and agriculture to protect worker's and farmer's hearing. In the future, we can consider to integrate our technique with earphone and headrest. |
