Summary |
The work demonstrates a top-level secure file transfer protocol. The technique is based on the concept of identity-based re-encryption. It ensures secure file transmission between two or more entities. The key feature of this work is that a sender needs not to be online always and needs not to consider recipient’s information during the file encryption. On-demand request, the NDN node will supply the requested file to the receiver, anonymously. The work is shown as formally secure under the hardness of Bilinear Diffie–Hellman assumption, and easily can be used in its practical applications. Theproposed protocol is the first work that supports the data confidentiality and provide data anonymously to the non-designated receivers. |
Scientific Breakthrough |
Our proposed scheme will have the following two advantages: 1. This work proposed a secure file transfer protocol combine with data reencryption. And it can achieve the request for secure ciphertext transmission in the no IP NDN network environment. 2. This work provides secure transmission environment. The intermediate nodes can't decrypt the ciphertext and get any related information. |
Industrial Applicability |
1. This work can combine and coexist with the current P2P network concept, and it also provides a more effective and secure file transfer protocol. 2. This file transfer protocol FTP-NDN can combine with the current 5G scheme. |
