Summary |
Disclosed herein are antifreeze protein analogue having salt bridges within the amino acid repeating units thereof and consisting essentially of an amino acid sequence represented by formula(I) or (III): Y-P-[A-R]a-W-Z (I) Y-P-A-[R-A]n-W-Z (III), coding nucleic acid sequences, and the production of recombinant antifreeze protein. This technique can be value-added in the cryo-preservation of marine, livestock, food, cosmetic, and Pharmaceutical industry. |
