Summary
A device for sampling and inspecting objects includes a sampling and an inspection assembly. A sampling tube of the sampling assembly is provided to pick at least one object to the inspection assembly and an image capture component of the inspection assembly is provided to inspect the picked object and capture images. Accordingly, the sampling efficiency is improved.
Scientific Breakthrough
Three innovations, including: 1. Controlling the 3D movement of a sampling and inspecting platform by a joystick or mouse; 2. The platform integrating the microscopes and a three-axis robot arm to perform micro displacement and mechanical sampling; 3. The targeted object can be draw on the opening of a dispensing needle, through the aid of negative pressure generated by an air pump.
Industrial Applicability
The device can be applied to industries of the precision processing, automation industry and robotics, such as micro-automatic dispensing, microinjection, adhesion and injection of micro objects, as well as the observation and cleaning on the surface of microstructure.  For academic research, the device can be applied in sorting planktonic samples, seeds and metal impurities.
