Our team has successfully developed an innovative green process for high-efficiency removal of slag,has mastered three core technologies (foaming, dephosphorization,desulfurization). First, we developed a technology that can produce a stable foaming slag for a long time without being affected by the slag component. Furthermore, the effect of the dephosphorization abilityits sulfur recovery rate with adding refining slag into the electric furnace is effectively improved. Finally, our team develop a desulfurizer with excellent desulfurization performance, the three core technologies can completely solve the three doubts caused by the addition of refining slag to the electric furnace. |
Industrial Applicability |
This team has successfully developed an innovative green process for high-efficiency removal of refining slag, which has been implemented in Taiwan electric furnace steel plantshas successfully converted 100 refining slag waste into oxidized slag with high application value. Recycled pellets have been widely used to replace natural pellets. Compared with natural pellets, the carbon emission is about 39.5 kg/m3 less,it is 3/4 of natural pellets. This method can produce about 910,000 tons of recycled pellets for cement companies, saving 490 million dollars costreduce 30,000 tons of CO2 emissions, so it can ultimately achieve the goal of reducing carbon emissions, circular economy, waste removal. |
