Summary
While performing arthroscopic surgery, it is usual that cutting device and coagulation device have to be used separately.Surgeons have to waste time to exchange devices.Moreover, after tissues are cut, surgical field under arthroscopy becomes bloody, which causes difficulty to cauterize the bleeders precisely. This invention can let surgeons cut tissues and cauterize bleeders with use of one device.The innovative concept of this invention is that every cycle of device motion can be divided into four steps: suction, clamp, cauterization or coagulation, and cut (SCCC). The device repeats those steps and achieves goal of target tissue cutting after coagulation. The structure of device include front part and hind part. Front part is composed of three units(outer, intermediate, and inner unit), and hind part is composed of a hand controller, a computer and a suction device. Surgeons can use the hind part to control the speed of motion of each unit in the front part.
