Summary |
This technology is a method for the analysis of the heart's health condition and management combined with mobile application. First of all, it utilizes the sensor's data from a portable heart beat physiological measurement system to acquire the electrical and mechanical physiological signals of the heart beats simultaneously. Then, the mobile device running with this application can utilize these data to analyze the physiological heart condition and synchronize it to a virtual platform. So that, it can be used for the diagnosis of the heart condition of the user and display the related health conditions of the heart on the mobile device with graphical user interfaces. With this technology, the users can understand their heart conditions any time any where, and more importantly, it can help the cardiologists to get the preliminary data of the heart activity in advance and help on the diagnosis of the heart conditions. |
Scientific Breakthrough |
This technology combines with the innovative multi-channel mechanocardiogrphy spectrum measurement system to simultaneously measure the electrical and mechanical physiological signals of the heart beats. The mobile application can automatically identify the physio-markers of the heart activities, and moreover to identify the syndromes of the cardiovascular diseases which can not be detected by the ECG alone. The analysis results of the health conditions of the heart can not only be used as personal health management, but also can be used as assistant tools for the diagnosis of the cardiovascular diseases for the cardiologists and provide the early warning for the heart abnormalities. |
Industrial Applicability |
With this invention, it could help to combine the innovated noninvasive multi-channel mechanocardiography measurement and analysis technologies with the wearable technologies, machine learning, and IoT technologies and eventually to commercialize the "Early predictions of cardiovascular diseases assisted with wearable mechanocardiography spectrum measurement system" into products. These products can be used by elderly people or patients with heart diseases to monitor their heart conditions at home, or serve as alternatives when the echocardiography is not available right away when it is required in clinical institutions. Moreover, it can help to implement the real-time detection, risk assessments and early predictions for heart failures. |
