The intelligent belt developed by this technology covers the patient’s abdomen, can detect the patient’s bowel movements in a timely manner, and transmits it through the wireless network to notify the caregivers to deal with it in real time. When patient want to take a bath and clean, only one person can do it on the original bed where the patient is lying, reducing the risk of patient movement.

The major obstacle to long-term care in Taiwan is human resources. Therefore, most people are unwilling to engage in long-term care.
