Summary |
An improved environment and living quality is the key for sustainability. Comprised of academic researchers, this team has developed 8 environmental sensors for the environmental monitoring of air, water, noise and waste heat. This research is continued from the previous individual development of sensing devices, and proposes an integrated Environmental Sensing Hub, which includes:
(1)Air sensing hub: temperature, humidity, pressure, infrared, microphone (noise), PM2.5 (2)Water sensing hub: heavy metal ions, spectrometer (water and food quality)
Additionally, for further enhancement in value of the Environmental Sensing Hub, this research leverages valuable industrial resources for the incorporation of signal processing IC, and applications for IoT and cloud computing. This enables for the recording of massive environmental data for further applications in artificial intelligence, ultimately realizing the goal of bettering lives. |
Industrial Applicability |
Different using situations can be fitted by selecting the different required environmental sensors in our proposed environment sensing hub. By the integration of the distinct analyzed information and the comparison of the data by different users/conditions, it can be further utilized in Smart-X fields; hence, the air/water qualities can be monitored to improve the quality of human life. |
