Summary |
This work is to design a non-invasive assessment system for evaluating the coordination between respiration and swallowing. This system contains a larynx swallowing detector, a pair of submental EMG sensors, and a respiration sensor to collect the signals from the thyroid cartilage, submental muscles, and nasal airflow, respectively. All signals will be collected by a collector and be analyzed automatically by an App. |

All signals will be collected by a collector and be analyzed automatically by an App. By this system, the doctors can assess the swallowing ability for dysphagia patients without inconvenience and risk of traditional assessment. |
