The system provides clients to upload basic information, allergens information and special health needs information of pets. The system could analyze the information to produce pet food with perfect formulas by the accurate calculation formula. It combined the advantages of information flows from e-commerce to finish delivery and payment. We want popularized pets information to the public by means of this. Moreover, intelligence and popularization will be the axis of the system.

This “Intelligent Customized Pet Feed Management and E-Commerce System” was developed by Dr. Hsu-Yang Kung, who is a distinguished professor of Department of Management Information Systems. The industry cooperation partner is Shennong Biotech Co., Ltd. The main innovative features of the system are the introduction of veterinary and nutritionist expertise into information technology. Calculate the best formula for pets based on the pet customization formula. This system changes the previous fixed feed to customized deployment and let the owner order according to the special needs of pets. Accurate intake of nutrients can be formulated for pet species, age, weight, ligation, calorie requirements, protein, and more. Furthermore, this system breaks through the traditional pathways, removes the intermediary sales operations, and feeds the production end directly to users. The system achievement was also invited by the Ministry of Science and Technology to participate in the 2017 Taipei International Invention Exhibition. This system also was interviewed by the Japanese NHK TV station, and broadcasted on the NHK International and Japanese programs.

寵物飼料之定義不單是傳統固定配方之飼料，而是仿效人類之吃飯模式，注入各種不同的飼養方式。本計畫規劃己開發將改變傳統寵物飼料，不僅將以往固定飼料改為客製化，可以根據寵物特殊需求來做改變，並針對寵物品種與年齡、體重、結紮來做客製化配方。
