Technical Name Intelligent Planting System with PM2.5 Inspection
Project Operator Ming-hsin University of Science and Technology
Summary
Development of an intelligent system with automatic watering and PM10 etc. detection functions by the structure of Internet of Things. This system uses mini-guardian orchids as an example, with soil, humidity, temperature, PM10, and spectrometers sensing devices. Users can read monitoring data instantly through the mobile APP.
Scientific Breakthrough
This work focuses on the Internet of Things (IoT) as the core of the technology, enabling it to automate watering and activate the PM10 auto-detection function. As an example, this device uses mini-guardian orchids as an example. Since the original growth was in forests in the mountains, the ambient humidity was relatively high, generally between 60% and 65%. In order to maintain the humidity environment, the device uses a soil sensor to determine whether the soil environment meets the growth requirements of orchids and automatically determines whether watering is performed, so as to achieve the effect of saving labor costs. At the same time, humidity, temperature, PM10 and other sensing elements and spectrometers were set up to analyze the effect of soil moisture on plant growth.
Industrial Applicability
以物聯網為技術,打破傳統種植方法,以全新自動化的方式進行澆水及空氣品質檢測,讓植物保持最佳的狀態。
