The advantage of our manufacturing device and method is to use press or transfer technology to replace a conventional printing process that only can be operated in a factory. By using press or transfer technology, our device and method can produce multi-functional test strips with high-yield rate and low cost in an automatic process. Furthermore, the device just has an appliance size as a microwave oven dose. By taking an advantage of the small size and easy operation procedure, the devices are competent to be used in convenient stores or drug stores to rapidly produce test strips for customers. It is benefit for customers to monitor his/her health status or food safety easily by self-detection of example level of blood sugar, tissue abnormality, pesticide level or even cancer markers.
It is known that test strips are a practical tool for detection use based on some advantages such as ease of use, low price and small size. However, in the past, test strips can only be manufactured by huge and expensive printing equipment. It limits the use and the type of test strips, and influences the willingness to use of the public only except few medical personnel in hospitals and clinics. Our technology can produce test strips with a cheap and small-sized device. It helps costumers to prepare their own test strips at home or a neighboring drug store. The device is under improvement to be available for producing strips with customization of detection targets in future. |
