I have developed three novel bio-control methods to block every step of life cycle of F. taiwana that were including: (1) the bait and trap specificity to catch female F. taiwana. (2) Isolation and identification of soil bacteria to kill the algae (blue-green algae and green algae) that was the major food of larvae of F. taiwana. (3) Isolation of soil fungus F01 that can infect eggs, larvae and pupa of F. taiwana. |
