Summary |
The proposed technology erects the solar panel in installation. Together with linear Fresnel lens and reflectors, the direct light and scattering light can be separated in light path. The former one is mainly used for photovoltaic generation and the latter one for illumination. The reflector can be adjusted to modulate the percentage of sunlight for photovoltaic generation and illumination in corresponding to climate |
Scientific Breakthrough |
The proposed technology takes illumination as the first priority, the rest of solar energy is transformed into electricity for storage or other purpose. It does not only bring a new thinking on the efficiency evaluation of solar energy utilization, but also resolve the dilemma between green power development and land use, especially for the case that the policy of crop land use has been highly enforced domestically. |
Industrial Applicability |
The proposed technology solve the issue of insufficient illumination when solar panels are installed, which can stimulate new incentive for using photovoltaic generation and help to develop a new channel of market for this well-developed industry. In addition, the new system technologies derived from this concept, can create new business model, including service for the management of the newly developed system hardware. |
