The proposed product uses a new type of force-measuring platform with high reliability as a developmental core of the technology to design a method for evaluating the weight distribution and the center of gravity of the manual wheelchair as a calibration system.The promotion of the clinical application of the detection platform for subsequent wheel axle balance and weight distribution will enable the design of the wheelchair to have superior mobile handling, safety and stability. |

The force plate was usually equipped with three-dimensional load cell to measure the force in the three directions to estimate the ground reaction force and calculate the position of the pressure center. The cost is relatively high, thus it can be barrier to widely promote in clinical applications. |
